Meeker Elementary School flooded in November 2017, DS Constructors was called to consult on damage. The extent of the flood waters into the building assemblies required a complete gut of the interior. The school district used this opportunity to completely re-design and modernize the school with(3) small additions. While construction was underway, DS set up a temporary classroom village, coordinated demolition, consulted on insurance re-build costs, and provided pre-construction services throughout the re-design. Work was completed nine days earlier than the original construction schedule was indicated…just in time for the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
