Meeker Elementary School
Meeker Elementary School flooded in November 2017. DS Constructors was called to fix the damage. Meeker Elementary renovation and addition entailed complete exterior façade enhancement, removal and replacement of all exterior storefront windows with new high security Special-Lite aluminum storefront systems and School-Guard impact resistant glass at main entry and all ancillary entrance doors. Construction of a complete secure vestibule with electrified interlocking door security systems, video surveillance and card access systems. Construction of 5,000 sf addition to existing classrooms. DS Constructors met the no slip deadline for the opening day of school without any delay to District operations despite the implement of 15 change events equaling $330,000.
