Jim Swanstrom and Melinda Denney have had the privilege of working together for the past seventeen years. Their professional success is the result of their commitment to honesty, teamwork, and communication while managing to have fun in the process. Jim’s focus on preconstruction and Melinda’s focus on operation specialties is at the heart of this successful collaboration. During their tenure together they have worked for hard bid, design build, and negotiated contractors. Recently the pair opened and ran a satellite office for a contractor that combined all of these contracting methods. Like all their previous ventures, this one proved to be extremely successful. In four years the office expanded from no revenue to fifteen million dollars a year. DS Constructors LLC allows Jim and Melinda the opportunity to combine the best of everything they learned separately, and together, to create a company that provides superior service to their clients, subcontractors, and employees based on the philosophies that have shaped them during their careers. To remain balanced and strong in an ever-changing economy the company will pursue a diverse program of commercial development projects. Their objective is to maintain a strong portfolio of client offerings that includes hard bid as well as negotiated and design build work.
